REI Merino Wool Crew Sweater

If you’ve been following Just{elation} for long at all, you’ve read all about the greatness of Merino Wool.  The way it doesn’t hold odors, the fact that it’s all natural, the way it breathes, the incredible insulating values…yada yada yada.  Today was the start of yet another long term test for yet another Merino Wool product, the REI Merino Wool Crew Sweater.  This long sleeve shirt has some amazing qualities to it, with a comfortable cut to fit fairly true to size.  At a quick glance one may think that it’s simply another cotton long sleeve t-shirt, the look of it resembles the normal look of any long sleeve t-shirt with a crew neck.  Offered in two colors (Cayenne Pepper & Timberline (burnt orange & light green for us common folk!)), your choices aren’t huge, though the colors are both very nice.  This shirt comes with an Ultraviolet Protection Factor (UPF) rating of 50, meaning that more than 97.5% of the dangerous Ultraviolet rays are blocked.

With REI’s “Flatlock Seams” and Merino Wool, combined with a tight weave and a great UPF factor, Just{elation} will definately enjoy testing this to it’s max!

This will be a full 1 year long term test, updates given at 1 month, 2 months, 4 months, 6 months, and 1 year increments.
