G7X DIY Waterproof Camera Case

A DIY waterproof case for the Canon G7X camera but the same idea can be used for any camera. This isn't designed to be used underwater or while swimming. It's purely to protect the camera in the rain.

I used: - $1 waterproof pouch - $2 protective lens filter (55mm) - yoghurt pot - epoxy glue You can use any clear piece of plastic in place of the lens filter. For a better glue surface, get a second yoghurt pot and slip it over the first yoghurt pot, facing the opposite direction. This will give you a lip that you can glue your "lens" to. I use an umbrella when shooting in the rain but the camera still gets wet when it's super windy. I have another video coming soon with a stronger and more reliable weatherproof case.
